Motley Crew Cave Vault

The Motley Crew Vault Club brought in 43 vaulters from 9 states for its Motley Crew Cave Vault at Crystal City Underground, a former sand mine in Crystal City, Missouri. Vaulters of all ages and abilities competed on two runways. There wasn't medals or prize money, but Paul Litchfield earned bragging rights for having what was, at the time, probably the highest jump underground in the United States with a vault of 17'4".
